About

Fuuchi Fighters! is a group comprised of two very good friends, Chisato and Kodoku. The idea to form a group was actually very random. Chisato was trying to scanlate Papillon -Hana to Chou- one day, and she asked Kodoku for some translation help. Kodoku decided to just join in on the scanlation fun, so both of them started scanlating the manga series. At the same time, Kodoku suggested to Chisato that they should join forces and rewrite the ending to Parfait Tic!, because they are both very upset about the official one Nanaji gave. Chisato agreed, and thus! They decided that having an official label would be appropriate (and interesting), so here it is.

The name Fuuchi Fighters! comes from the fact that both Chisato and Kodoku are die hard Fuuchi fans -- that is, their ultimate OTP (one true pairing) from the manga series Parfait Tic!, Fuuko x Ichi. (As you can probably tell from this layout if you're familiar with the series.) They thought having a silly name would be fun, and Fuuchi Fighters! is certainly a very silly name. We fight for Fuuchi love!

Chisato is definitely the more level headed person of the two, despite being the younger one. (Though still crazy to some extent.) Chisato is the first of the two to get into both Papillon and Parfait Tic! series, and also succeeded in getting Kodoku sucked into both series as well. Chisato is a long time web designer who has been around the Internet for quite some time. Her collective (Royal-Hours.net) has changed many locations since the start of her web design career, and she has served many viewers with many extremely well-done sites to date, especially character shrines (game/animanga) and fansites (celebrities). (She also owns way too many fanlistings for her own good -- and the amazing thing is all of them are so nicely done and periodically updated.) Her persistence with keeping up with websites as well as balancing the rest of her life is probably something a normal person shouldn't have. (That was a compliment.)

Kodoku is older than Chisato by a year, but acts like she's younger by 10. She is the ditzy, spazzy type of person who can't shut up when it's something she's passionate about. (Like Fuuchi.) Under the influence of Chisato, Kodoku is now way too obsessed with Parfait Tic! and Fuuchi for her own good. Kodoku is actually more of an artist than web designer, though long long time ago she started out on the Internet as a web designer. Her websites started out with shrines and collectives and the likes, but has eventually evolved and reduced to her one and only -- art site. Kodoku tends to draw fanart more than original, because she likes to portray characters in the way she sees them. (A nicer way of saying she's not really creative.) She is very passionate about drawing among many other things, and is on her long indefinite journey to finding her own style she can be happy with.

Both members are located in Canada, though they are kind of... across the country from each other. The two met years ago on a now-dead forum through a coincidence of Chisato seeking FFVIII screenshots that Kodoku had. They have been very good friends since, and even met once in real life in summer 2006. They are both Chinese, though Chisato is Cantonese and Kodoku is Mandarin.
