Projects

Here is a list of the projects we're currently doing, and some descriptions as to what they are. It is unlikely that this list is going to expand, but hey, you never know. We're both quite crazy and spontaneous after all.

Papillon -Hana to Chou-

Type: Scanlation
Status: Ongoing
Mangaka: Ueda Miwa
Genre: Shoujo (girl's) manga
Our scanlation is also officially hosted at The Evil Empire.

Papillon -Hana to Chou- is the story of an ordinary girl named Ageha, who is always inferior in comparison to her twin sister Kana. Although they are twins, they are quite the opposites -- Kana is the pretty, outgoing, popular girl in school, while Ageha is the plain, boring, not-so-gorgeous girl. The story takes off when Ageha strangely gets her wish "granted" by a strange boy named Kyuu. The two sisters find themselves fighting over the same guy, Ryuusei, each for their own reasons. As the story progresses, Ageha is able to find the inner determination that allows her to go under a total metamorphosis and change into a beautiful butterfly.

The term "papillon" is French for "butterfly". The title "Papillon -Hana to Chou-" literally means "Butterfly -flower and butterfly-". This is a new series started by Ueda Miwa since January 2007. This series is scanlated from the Chinese version provided by Chisato. Chisato is responsible for scanning and scanlating of some pages, Kodoku is responsible for editting and most of the translating.

Parfait Tic: La fin parfaite

Type: Doujinshi (...somewhat, I guess)
Status: Coming soon
Mangaka: Nanaji Nagamu
Genre: Shoujo (girl's) manga
Pairing: Shinpo Ichi x Kameyama Fuuko

Parfait Tic! is about a normal, ordinary 15-year-old girl, Kameyama Fuuko, starting her first year in high school. Before the first day of school, two absolutely gorgeous cousins, Shinpo Ichi and Shinpo Daiya, move into her neighbourhood. Fuuko soon finds herself in a very complicated triangle relationship with the two cousins. Both guys are charming and extremely good looking, however Fuuko can only end up with one of them. Who will it be?

In Parfait Tic: La fin parfaite, Chisato and Kodoku hope to extend the original manga's story by coming up with their own ending for Fuuko's complicated love life. In this extended version of Parfait Tic, Fuuko goes through more events that allow her to learn who she really is, and who she is really in love with. Since you probably saw this coming, this is a story in favour of the pairing Ichi x Fuuko. Please note that while we try to make it look like the original manga's style, this is purely FANMADE. If you do not support the Fuuchi pairing, it is recommended that you don't read this.

The original Parfait Tic! is a 22 volumes (149 chapters) manga by Nanaji Nagamu that has recently ended. The word "parfait" is French for "perfect". "Tic" comes from the English word, "romanTIC". Parfait Tic meaning a perfect romance. (...Yeah right. >_>) In our own extended version, "la fin parfaite" is French for "the perfect ending". We chose this name simply because we believe Fuuchi is the one true perfect ending, and we couldn't give up the temptation of mocking the original name with another "parfaite" in it. Both Chisato and Kodoku are responsible for coming up with the story in this extended version, and Kodoku is responsible for illustrating the manga.
